Feedback...As Nautical Bob’s protégées, we are delighted to see this book. We were small boat sailors without the big boat experience when we went on our first charter trip with Bob and Kathleen in 1996. Since then we have made nearly a dozen charter trips. As Bob says, ‘it is easier than you think,’ especially since “How to Bareboat” makes the planning process 'no problem, mon.' Even as veteran cruisers, we found many useful tips and ideas in Bob’s book. If you can’t be on the boat with Bob, at least take his book along. Michael & Greta Mittman - Flying Scot South -Dallas TX ~~~~~~ I wish Bob’s book had been available to us when we first sailed in the BVI. He has taken 99% of the hassle and uncertainty out of the planning process. His menus, matched to shopping lists, which also take into account what provisions and services are available in each location, are simply brilliant. His “Float Plans” with daily recommendations for anchorages and what to do ashore are spot on to capture the quintessential BVI experiences. And I applaud his mission to get more of us small boat sailors into the big boats (but only for vacation)… it truly is easier than you think, but made even more so with Bob’s expert guidance and up-to-date information. Greg Fisher - North Sails ~~~~~ Please tell us what you think. Also you may use the form below to ask any questions you may have regarding bareboat charters in the BVI. By doing so you are giving us permission to use your question (anonymously) on our FAQ page. If you provide us with your contact information, we will be able to reach you in case we have any questions. We don't share your info.
